Alright so as my title says I am a copycat, seriously. Rebecca (my friend) started one and sent me the link and it got me thinking. Hmmm....I should write a blog that would be so much fun and maybe one day I could take my blog and turn it into a book (people have dont that right?). Well here I am I have 6 days before I move back to school for my sophomore year of college (I know hard to believe right?). I just realized that if I continue this blog for more than three years my title is no longer correct (whoops). Now this first post is simply going to give you an idea for what I have an idea on trying to do. I want to try and post at least once a week. In every post I will give you a basic rerun of my life that has happened so far as long as I am willing to tell whoever reads these (which at the moment is a big goose egg). I also plan to depart with some friendly wisdom about college that some of you dont know (not saying I am an expert because seriously I am NOT). Another thing I want to do it post a joke, trivia, or something random every time I post just to be....different. Now if I randomly post a second blog in one week there is a large chance that I am ranting about something or someone, so please forgive those random posts or have fun and laugh at how miserable I sound at that moment.
And now for my piece of wisdom for today:
DO NOT BUY YOUR COLLEGE TEXTBOOKS UNLESS YOU MUST!!!!
Rent your books for half price at CHEGG.COM and then return them before they are due, it is as simple as that. Otherwise if you have books to sell go to AMAZON.COM where you can enter your own price!!!

In regards to buying textbooks-
ReplyDeleteIf you can buy them for roughly the same as Chegg is renting them (or less than they are renting them for!), try that and then sell them back to someone else. You make money then, instead of a textbook renting website.
Hey Brenn, I'm going to follow you now. Yay! hehe
ReplyDeleteYes but I am never able to find books at a price that is close enough to buying them so I would rather just spend the little bit of money and then ship them back so its easier.
